Terms & Conditions
The rules for using Cloord Publisher. Please read them — by using the Service you agree to them.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Cloord Publisher (the "Service"), an online studio for designing books, operated by Cloord ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
- You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details secure.
- Your account is identified by your email address. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- If you use the Service for a school or organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.
- Users under 18 should use the Service only with the consent of a parent, guardian or school.
2. Plans and pages
The Service is offered on the plans described on our pricing page:
| Plan | Price | Pages |
|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 — free for life | Up to 100 pages |
| Pro | ₹3,600 per year | Up to 1,800 pages |
| Unlimited | ₹7,800 per year | Unlimited pages |
- Every plan includes all features. Plans differ only in the number of pages you can create.
- Pages are counted across all books you own. Pages of books shared with you count towards the owner's plan.
- If you reach your page limit, your existing books stay available; to add more pages, delete pages or upgrade.
- We may change prices or plans in the future. Changes will not affect a period you have already paid for.
3. Payments and renewals
- Prices are in Indian rupees (₹). Taxes are charged as applicable.
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner.
- Paid plans run for one year from the date of payment and renew yearly unless you cancel before the renewal.
4. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: if you cancel within 24 hours of payment, we refund the amount paid minus payment gateway charges and taxes; after 24 hours, payments are not refundable.
5. Your content
- You own your content. The books, text and images you create or upload remain yours.
- You give us permission to store, process, display and export your content only as needed to provide the Service to you and the people you share it with.
- You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including images and text from other sources.
6. Sharing and collaboration
- Book owners can invite other people by email as editors (who can change the book) or viewers (who can only read it), and can remove access at any time.
- Editors can change a book's content; only the owner can share or delete a book.
- Owners are responsible for who they invite and for content their editors add.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is abusive, hateful or obscene;
- try to access books or accounts that are not shared with you;
- interfere with, overload or attack the Service, or bypass its limits or security;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or discontinue features. We recommend exporting important books (PDF or project file) as a backup.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service — its software, design, templates and brand — belongs to Cloord. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or software beyond using the Service.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these Terms. Sections about content ownership, liability and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Cloord is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for important changes, notify you through the Service. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
